ARTROMOT®-S Classic

The proven two-motor shoulder CPM device is suitable for passive mobilization of the shoulder after surgeries. Unlike many other models, both motors on this device can be used as early as the postoperative phase.

The well-known figure-eight movement, which is created by the interaction of both motors, is especially appreciated. This movement pattern is recommended by many experienced shoulder surgeons and perceived as comfortable by patients. In this form, it is now achieved only by the new ARTROMOT S4.

An important advantage of this device is that it deliberately works without rotation. Especially after shoulder surgeries, rotation can be critical in the early phase and must be assessed very carefully depending on the procedure. The device therefore focuses on controlled, guided movements in abduction, adduction, anteversion, and retroversion. This allows the shoulder to be mobilized gently without performing an additional rotational movement.

Motors and movements

Motor A controls abduction and adduction.
Motor B controls anteversion and retroversion.

The device does not perform any rotation. This makes it particularly suitable for postoperative applications where controlled mobilization without rotational stress is desired.
